North Alabama Cabin Rentals
Mentone - 1800's Original Cabin
A pre-civil war construction cabin, this was reconstructed timber by timber from its original location in Etowah County, Alabama and has the original stone double sided wood burning fireplace, adding authenticity to its 1800’s antique ambiance. It is situated on a private road and sits atop a cliff overlooking the Crystal Clear East Fork of the Little River so yes, you can hear that beautiful waterfall sound as soon as you step down your car and enter the cabin grounds. The cabin also has a screened in porch with a water therapy hot tub and a back porch with a grill you can use to cook your catch after fishing in the nearby river. Should you decide to go to town for shopping and activities, downtown Mentone is just 10 minutes away. Or if you want to do some hiking and visit another waterfall, the Desoto State Park and waterfall is also a few minutes away.

Little River Falls
Located within the Little River Canyon National Preserve, Little River Falls, a 45 foot waterfall, is a must see. It also is one of the most accessible as you can enjoy its glory without the usual hike.
DeSoto Falls
This 107 foot waterfall is one of the most popular waterfalls in Alabama. It is located inside the DeSoto State Park on Lookout Mountain.
Little River Canyon - The Crow’s Nest on Sunnybrook Farm
Completed in the Spring of 2018, this is one of the newest cabins on our list. It sits on top of Lookout Mountain, 12 miles outside of Fort Payne, 3 miles away from Little River Canyon National Preserve and 6 miles away from Yellow Creek Falls Fish Camp, making it accessible to whatever outdoor activity you plan on doing. Should you opt to just relax and enjoy a peaceful day/evening, there are 2 covered decks where you can just take in the view, sip coffee or wine, and read a book.

Little River Falls
Just off of Highway 35, Little River Falls is one of the most accessible Alabama river. Swimming and cliff diving are just some of the activities you can enjoy here.
Little Falls
Located just south of Little River Falls, you'll find Little Falls or Martha's Falls. Locals call it the Hippie Hole also as it has become one of the more popular swimming destinations in the area.
Lost Falls
One of the many falls situated in DeSoto State Park, Lost Falls is aptly named as it is hardest to find. Best to see it during spring or winter to make sure plenty of water is flowing.
Indian Falls
Indian Falls is the second largest fall in the area next to DeSoto Falls. This waterfall drops 20 feet into a small ravine.
Laurel Falls
Laurel Falls is a small but beautiful waterfall that drops about 6 feet. It is just a short walk beyond Azalea Cascades in DeSoto State Park.
Lodge Falls
Lodge Falls is located just behind DeSoto Lodge. It drops approximately 25 feet and is very dependent on rainfall.
Guntersville Lake Cabin
This cute cabin you just have to see to believe. It's located in Guntersville, Alabama and is just a short distance away from Lake Guntersville State Park, Bucks Pocket State Part and the High Falls Park. People flock to the area in February just to see bald eagles who migrate there during that time of year. Playing golf and antique and specialty shopping are just some of activities you can do while booked here. Or, go fishing in one of 3 ponds on the property after a day of waterfall hunting!

Grace High Falls
With 133 feet drop, Grace High Falls is one of the tallest, if not the tallest, waterfall in Alabama. It is located within the Little River Canyon National Preserve.
High Falls
High Falls is located in Town Creek, south of Lake Guntersville. It is 35 feet high and 300 feet wide of magnificent beauty.
Thompson Falls
Thompson Falls is composed of three waterfalls that drops into a gorge on Mink Creek in Arab. Best to visit this after a rainfall to get the most picturesque view.
Wilson Lake - Lakefront Cabin
Located on Wilson Lake in a resort area, this cabin offers plenty of activities and amenities. It has swimming pools, boat rentals, nature trail and white sand beach. Canoes, kayaks and paddle boats are available for those who love going on the water. It is 16.6 miles away from Spring Park where Cold Water Falls (man-made) is located.

Cold Water Falls
Cold Water Falls is a man-made waterfall. It is about 80 feet wide and 42 feet tall. Its tiered falls definitely adds magnificence to this beauty.
Cane Creek Canyon Preserve

Cane Creek Canyon Nature Preserve is a 700 acre home to diverse plants and animals, owned and maintained by Jim and Faye Lacefield. One of the main attractions is a 60 foot waterfall.
Hidden Gem in Smith Lake
Located on Smith Lake and nestled in a mountain cove make this log cabin is truly a hidden gem. It is just over ½ miles from the neighborhood boat launch and has space available to store your boat in the cabin. However, it is secluded enough to not worry about boat traffic while swimming or fishing. If you are looking for other activities, a rec area is just across the street where there are a tennis court, a basketball court and a football field. Ready to get outside and explore? Caney Creek Falls are just a few minutes away.

Caney Creek Falls
Caney Creek Falls, located inside Bankhead National Forest, is considered one of the most beautiful waterfall trip in Alabama. It may be a bit of a hike but the lush greens and wildflowers make it worthwhile. Who knows, you might even chance upon its second falls.
Turkeyfoot Falls
One of the shorter hikes in the Sipsey Wilderness Area, Turkey Foot Falls does require descending down into a canyon but the payoff is great. Just look that that picture!
Central Alabama - Noccalula Falls Cabins

Near Tuscaloosa - Rustic Log Cabin
This one room cabin was hand built with trees from the farm it sits on. Though it only has one room, it has a fully functional kitchen, a bathroom and four full size beds perfect for a family or a group of friends. Three ponds are located right on the property so fishing is a given activity in this cabin. It is a one hour drive from the Alabama stadium and from Falling Rock Falls and Davis Falls.

Falling Rock Falls
Falling Rock Falls is a 90 foot drop waterfall located just on the outskirts of Birmingham. It is such an impressive site, especially after a rain.
Davis Falls
Davis Falls is a nice little cascade that drops to a pool at the bottom. Unfortunately, it is now closed to public access.
